Deb is a holistic canine behavior and wellbeing coach. She supports and assists people who want to give their dogs the very best lifestyle and wellbeing possible, and has been working professionally with dogs for over 30 years. 

She has extensive knowledge and experience working with dogs who exhibit shy, fearful or reactive behaviors. She has over 20 years of experience training assistance dogs for people with a variety of needs, and has trained dogs for a variety of dog sports and activities.

She brings to her work not only a lifetime of learning about canine behavior and wellbeing; she also specific training in many modalities including: Healing Touch for Animals, Tellington Ttouch, Craniosacral techniques, Canine Fitness, and others.

Deb realizes that most behaviors that humans find concerning or problematic originate from a dog's natural behaviors and needs clashing with our needs, culture, and lifestyles. By considering various aspects of the dogs' lives, and the humans' lives, she creates a plan which allows for everyone's needs to be met, and for our dogs' best behaviors to shine through.

 She has a special interest and expertise in teaching people to communicate effectively with their visually and/or hearing-impaired dogs, and works with clients all over the world through virtual one-to-one and group sessions.

 She is a published author of several dog-related books and many articles, and regularly offers webinars and presentations on topics she is passionate about.
