Are We Reinforcing the Relationship with L.E.G.S.?
What does it really mean to be relationship-centered in our work with dogs? This course explores how the L.E.G.S. framework can reshape not only the way we understand dogs, but the way we understand connection itself. Through personal stories and professional reflection, Matt Beisner shares how the dogs in his life challenged his assumptions, shifted his perspective, and changed the course of his work as a trainer and as a human.
This presentation looks beyond applying L.E.G.S. as a case framework and asks participants to consider how relationship, trust, social connection, and even the biology of oxytocin influence the work we do. It invites professionals to reflect on whether they are simply using a model, or actively reinforcing a deeper, more conscious relationship with the dogs and people in their care.
