Frances Quaempts

Frances is a co-owner and lead trainer at Blue Mountain Canine, a well-being focused dog training company based in Pendleton, Oregon. Blue Mountain Canine specializes in puppies, therapy team preparation, and behavior/welfare support for dogs with general anxiety and trauma. We also provide lodging and daycare for smaller dogs. Our holistic approach helps families better understand their dogs and their own capacity while building confidence and trust.

Frances has been working with dogs professionally since 2012 with her spouse and business partner Mycal. Frances’ background includes community outreach, writing, public speaking, event organization, and clientele-based hospitality. She is dedicated to helping people feel less overwhelmed by the training process and in particular, is passionate about supporting families experiencing chronic illness and stress. She enjoys family time, DJing, art, movies, books, cooking, and spending time in nature.
