Brief Bio Wendy Lyons Sunshine, MA, FDM, is an award-winning journalist, experienced editor, and author of Tender Paws: How Science-Based Parenting Can Transform Our Relationship with Dogs, winner of the Dog Writers Association of America's Maxwell Medallion and the ASJA Book Award. Wendy is on the board of a Florida rescue organization and has a passion for translating animal behavior and welfare science into plain, warm language for general audiences.
