The Bio picture is my “windswept pose” on a cliff above a beach. I have spent many years living along the coast, but now I am back to my roots living in central London and spending my holidays with my dogs on the coast instead.
It is a pretty obvious thing to say that having dogs in the center of the UK’s biggest city is different to the suburbs, coast and rural areas. What is not so obvious is the pace of change in all of our dogs' lives, no matter where they live, has been faster in the last 50 years than at any time previously.
As a Family Dog Mediator, I act as a bridge between you and your dog(s). Using the LEGS model, which considers your dog's learning history, environment, genetic predispositions, and individual personality, I address behavioural and training issues in a holistic and empathetic manner. Every family and every dog is unique. As a FDM I tailor my strategies to fit the specific needs and circumstances of your household. This personalized approach ensures that recommendations are practical, achievable, and sustainable in the long term. All work is undertaken on a one-to-one basis in your home and working in your local area where the issues are occurring.
Please contact me for an informal chat if you want to find out more about how Family Dog Mediation could work for you and your dog(s).
