Julie Heyes
Hi, I’m Julie of DOG-HAPPY TEAMMATES. I offer both group and private services, along with my Enrichment Center now being a destination for more super cool program/service options.
I came into dog training the way many do. A dog that challenged me to learn more so I could help him, and our family find a path to a harmonious relationship. Jack was a year old, and I quickly learned I was in over my head. I didn’t know what I didn’t know, yet the more I learned, the more I wanted to learn. So, my new and impassioned career path seeds were planted.
I’m delighted to have integrated my education as a Family Dog Mediator into my practice.
I’m also a Dial Method Guide and Certified Pro Dog Trainer (CPDT) through the Absolute Dogs courses. I’m a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and The Pet Professional Guild.
My education is always on-going – that is the fire that burns within! Participating in webinars, conferences, courses and workshops over the many years to present. Not to mention countless podcasts.
Animal behaviour is complex (both human and dog), so my big “job” is to listen, then think compassionately to best guide each individual client team onto a path that will allow them to live their best lives together.
