Kate Senisi
For nearly 15 years, Kate has dedicated herself to assisting dog parents overcome behavioral challenges and improve communication with their canine companions. Her approach emphasizes welfare for both species, minimizes conflict, and aims to foster lasting change.
Kate’s tenure as Co-Founder and Training Director of School For The Dogs, established in 2011, has enriched her understanding of motivating and supporting the human holding the leash. Alongside her work with clients, their dogs and overseeing a team of trainers at the training school, she has also conducted numerous hands-on trainer workshops and provided mentorship to enrolled training students in CATCH Professional Dog Training Academy, since 2017.
Kate specializes in addressing urban behavior issues such as aggression and anxiety. Her integrative, creative problem-solving skills ensure practical solutions that work within the unique challenges of NYC’s environment. She provides one-on-one training in Manhattan (below 14th Street), North and Mid-Brooklyn, and Southern Queens, NY. Kate also offers outdoor sessions with her own dog, Bandit, in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
