I’m Laura Parker, MSPT, CCRP, CSCC, LFDM, KPA-CTP, ABDDT. I currently work as a canine
physical therapist, certified dog trainer, and animal shelter volunteer. My career began as a
Certified Veterinary Technician in domestic animal practice and in a zoological park for many years. Concurrently, I also worked as an Emergency Medical Technician and whitewater raft guide. I then earned the physical therapy degree and practiced in human orthopedics for
several more years. In 2020, after earning the Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification, I switched from humans to animals, working as a physical therapist for dogs and a few cats. I am
contracted with a specialty clinic and treat orthopedic and neurological patients, and love it! I continue to train privately and volunteer at the shelter, working with behavioral issues with the
dogs. Additionally, there is an occasional foster dog in my home.
