Linda Keehn is the owner of Positive Canine Training in New York. and has been training dogs and their human families to live together successfully for 10 years. In addition to being a Certified Family Dog Mediator, Linda is a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC) through International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC) a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed CPDT-KA, A Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT) and Certified Fear Free Professional.  Becoming a Family Dog Mediator has brought together so much of my previous education and experience.  I love how it looks at the whole dog, inside and out to help them and their families. 

Linda also has a Master’s degree in health administration. After many years in health care, she left to follow her dream of being a professional dog trainer. Linda has a special interest in helping dogs with separation related issues be more comfortable alone and working with families who recently obtained a new dog and or puppy.   She shares her life with her husband, Peachy a Wheaten terrier and Ollie, a mixed breed former street dog.  She is also kept busy with therapy dog work and a large extended family.
