I've been in the industry since 1998 and my passion began with the purest love, being a dog owner. Having several dogs meant I was in training classes so often, that I was approached to become an instructor myself and followed what I immediately knew to be my calling. From the first agility class with my Papillion Max to the wide variety of breeds in my home, I developed an appreciation for the nuance of personalities and physicalities.
Along came the opportunity to build my first dog daycare and training business, hosting seminars with prominent industry professionals. It was a phenomenal learning experience shaping me into the professional I am today.
My journey has illustrated the difference between my goals and the needs of my dogs as individuals. I found myself immersed in Agility, Rally, Nosework, Obedience, Rally, Dock Diving, Conformation, and Frisbee/Disc. It also meant developing skills working with reactivity, aggression, fearfulness, rowdy teens, temperament evaluations, and dog selection.
Dogs bring an unmeasurable joy to my life. Whether it's fostering or volunteering my time evaluating for rescues or training with people and their dogs, I amplify my professional knowledge through a genuine love for dogs and I pride myself on offering an unparalleled experience.
