Lisa Rynston-Lobel, VSA-DT, LFDM-T

Lisa, a retired social worker, has been working with dogs in some capacity for 13 years. After watching as her own dog, Maizy, was somewhat traumatized by a very intimidating dog trainer, she realized there had to be a better way to work with dogs. In 2015, Lisa began fostering doodles for Doodle Rescue Collective. It was through this experience that she connected with a fantastic trainer, who used positive reinforcement methods to handle some very difficult behavioral issues with dogs. He encouraged Lisa to become a trainer herself. In 2019, Lisa completed the Victoria Stilwell Academy Dog Training program and started her own business, Talk to the Hound Dog Training, based in Port Washington, NY. Still looking to learn more about dog behavior, Lisa furthered her education with Kim Brophey and completed the LEGS® Family Dog Mediation program. Lisa loves to get the entire family involved in the dog “training” process, but mostly “trains” the owners to better understand their dog’s LEGS®.

Lisa resides in Port Washington, NY with her husband, two children and her 13 year old labradoodle, Maizy.
