Hi, my name is Petra and I am based in Ireland. Animals have always been part of my life, especially
those that found themselves in less fortunate circumstances. I am a co – founder of H.A.R.T
(Homeless Animal Rescue Team) Ireland, along side my two very hard working friends. This rescue is
operating since 2012 and is now a registered charity, catering for pound and stray animals. I also
developed an interest in canine behaviour along my journey, which I hope will help me to develop
better understanding of dogs as a species, of their complex relationships with humans and hopefully
more efficient ways of managing this complex relationships in more mutually beneficial ways.
My learning curve is continuous and fluid, whilst I am trying to better myself and really understand
those around me, both on personal and professional level. Some of my qualifications include:
 Animal care certificate ( Fetac QQI level 6)
 Level 6 Advanced diploma in canine behaviour ( The ISCP Ltd.)
 LFDM-S ( Family Dog Mediation)
